I've pasted miscellaneous photos below (scroll down).  For Weddings, I concentrate on getting as many candid photos as possible in addition to the usual posed pictures.  I think candid pictures make the best memories!  Generally, I'll arrive half an hour before the ceremony, say hello to the bride, shoot photos of the groom and the men in the wedding party, then go back to the bride and get photos of her slipping into her dress and putting on the final touches.  For a 3-hour wedding, I'll take around 500-800 photos.

For parties, anniversaries and other events, I take as many photos as possible - trying to get fun shots of everyone in attendance, plus group shots, portraits, etc.

I lean towards sunsets, oddities, photos of my children (they are rather odd) and nature photos.  I will be pleased to photograph your private event in Orange County, North San Diego County, or South Los Angeles County / Beach Cities, in exchange for $350 of your lovely money (plus $50/half hour if your event runs longer than 3 hours, and a $50 travel fee if I have to travel over an hour to get to your event).  I'll take lots of wonderful photos, post them on a web-page for you to share if you like, and mail you a CD with all the edited .jpg photos.

For you camera buffs, I shoot with a Canon EOS 40D body, a 24-70 2.8 lens and a 580EXii dedicated shoe mount flash.  Plus, for backup, I use two Canon EOS Rebel XT cameras with a 420EX dedicated shoe mount flash, a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm lens. 

Need two photographers?  Sometimes I shoot with my daughter, Monica.  We split up and cover different places at the same time (one of us goes to where the bride is getting ready, the other will shoot the groomsmen, we can cover the ceremony from two different angles, and one of us will do formal posed photos while the other is getting candid snaps of the guests).  See her work at www.Monnnnica.com.
